Forensic Associate Specialist

This is a temporary role as an Associate Specialist in Forensic Psychiatry at The Spinney hospital, which has been rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC. You will be providing comprehensive forensic services to patients across medium-to-low secure and locked rehabilitation, working closely with experienced Consultants. The role offers a competitive annual salary and a range of benefits, including 30 days annual leave, a pension, and professional development opportunities., As an Associate Specialist, you will ensure the high-quality first-line medical care of our inpatients, liaising effectively with external professionals and carers, providing written and oral evidence for Hospital Managers' and Tribunal hearings, work towards safe discharges, and be a valued and effective member of the multidisciplinary team at The Spinney. You will also ensure adequate handover to colleagues, seek collateral history from other professionals and family, and complete discharge letters/reports as required.
