We have a rare opportunity for a Sales Support Executive to provide administrative support to our Global Formats Sales Team and build relationships with our key stakeholders across various divisions at BBC Studios as well as our teams within Global Entertainment., Administrative support: Provide administrative support to the members of the Global Format Sales team, with a focus on sale and contract processing for teams in the UK, with focus on Eastern Europe and Latin America. This will include leading internal sales processes, liaising with internal teams to produce monthly reports, providing information on distribution of rights and securing sale approvals, maintaining accurate records, liaising with the wider creative network teams, and being proactive in developing market knowledge and insights in the broadcast/media industry to support the Global Format Sales team and identify sales opportunities. System Maintenance: Support the Global Format Sales Teams to ensure appropriate systems, (Salesforce, Rightsline, and others), are always up to date with accurate information, including contract processing and customer data management. Customer coordination: Liaise across several internal functions, ensuring the clients' smooth transition through the end-to-end sales process, provide successful after-sales care service, and actively promote the BBC Studios customer website and dedicated online formats catalogue to clients. Lead and manage the processing of client attendance for BBC Studios and industry trade events which may include diary management for these client events and distributing marketing updates to clients within the territory.

  • Excellent organisation and administration skills, ability to prioritise and demonstrate high attention to detail, and concern for accuracy.
  • Ability to cope well under pressure in a busy sales environment and experience in using Salesforce or similar.
  • Proactive and demonstrable initiative.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, and ability to deal with people, both internally and externally, at all levels.
  • Excellent IT Skills in MS Office systems e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and need to be able to understand new systems quickly.
  • Some languages useful but not essential (any of Spanish, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Slovakian).
  • A passion, interest and understanding of the television media industry would be an advantage.
