Full Job Description

This role will give the right person a great opportunity to fully engage across the business and develop their finance career through taking on ownership of the financial modelling, KPI reporting and analysis of the financial performance.

While processes and reporting has been built out, there is scope for further improvement alongside business systems being developed and this role will be closely involved in driving the improvements.

The finance team consists of the CFO, Management Accountant and Business Manager. This role will report to the CFO and work closely with the Management Accountant who runs the month end process, deals with tax compliance and owns the finance processes.

  • Assisting with all financial aspects including annual budgets, forecasting and analysis for P&L and cash flow, and departmental budgets

  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure achievement of departmental KPI's and identify reasons for variances including developing reporting

  • Timely creation of monthly financial reports to the CFO and senior management using Xero and Fathom

  • Examine monthly managerial data, providing actionable insights and suggestions

  • Creating and updating financial models to analyse business performance against key KPI's

  • Influence business data and control processes to deliver reliable and meaningful KPI reporting

  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as needed for senior management

    A qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to make a difference in a data driven organisation.

  • Have a desire to deliver the best set of reporting and KPI's possible which will provide great information for the business leaders and the board as well as positioning the company well for any future due diligence process.

  • Have strong data processing and reporting skills using tools such as Excel and Power BI and being comfortable with large data sets and delivering meaningful analysis from that data.

  • Thrive on being part of a team delivering strong business growth., 2 - 4 years FP&A experience

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Power BI knowledge useful

  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or underway

    Hybrid Working

    Camascope operates with three "anchor" days of being in the office at Farringdon which are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and this role is expected to fit with this working model.
