The UK Finance SSC has been created on a couple of key principles: standardisation, consolidation and better efficiency of global processes across all UK business.
About the Role
This role will take a proactive role in transforming the UK finance function into a centre of excellence while working toward a professional accountancy qualification. The business will provide compensation for study support and exam fees.
In this role you will support the finance function. Becoming an expert in key finance team processes, you will work on show set up, product set up and more. Close business partnering with the events team on the "Show Set Up Process" is required to enable them to contract and invoice on a timely basis.
Responsibilities

• 
  Enabling of contracting and invoicing for the Exhibitions Events. This will involve liaising with a number of departments in the Event teams.
  
• Managing the event setup and close down process in Oracle EBS


• Setting up new products for Events


• Performing month end analysis for reporting purposes


• Assisting in the budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning of the business


• Making continuous improvements to increase efficiency of Show Set Up process.
  
  Demonstrate commitment to a career in finance and possess the ability to forge productive relationships


• Be proficient with Excel and other software packages


• Possess good communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with differing members of the business


• Be motivated to develop their knowledge of accounting


• Have a positive, organised approach to work. Be able to manage a number of competing tasks and complete them in a timely manner


• Be able to travel domestically and internationally as required
