NB This is a fixed term contract for six months with possibility of extension, We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst or Reconciliation Specialist to join our dynamic FP&A data team in the Group Finance division on a 6-month fixed term contract. The FP&A - Data Analyst will support the FP&A team by building data reconciliation reports to quickly identify inconsistencies between systems and determine how to address discrepancies. Strong knowledge of databases is essential, including experience comparing and mapping data from different database structures. A background in finance and financial systems is highly advantageous. Duties of the role will include:
- Develop and maintain data reconciliation reports using Power BI.
- Analyze and compare multiple source systems that are structured differently.
- Map and align data from each database to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with team members to understand data structures and requirements.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Reviewing and documenting data business processes, identifying areas for automation and developing flows to reduce the number of manual data tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have expert level of knowledge in data modelling and data management. You should also have previous experience and knowledge in: Essential: - Data reconciliation between different databases / systems
- Intermediate Power BI report building (or another data visualization solution) Desirable:
- SQL / MDX
- VBA
- SAP BW or Tagetik
- Background in finance and financial systems
