Position: FP&A Data & Insights Manager Contract Type: Permanent / full-time Location: Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry (hybrid working available - minimum 3 days office based) Why choose DHL eCommerce UK? About the role: The role will also be responsible for FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) which will be responsible for measuring the financial performance of the DHL eCommerce business. The role will ensure the business is accurately planned, forecast and measured. It is critical within this role to identify performance gaps and opportunities and provide data to analyse causes. It will also support to implement Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Analytics plans to identify business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs and provide data that is accurate, congruent, reliable and in line with overall business objectives and needs, Group guidelines and policies.
- Lead the annual budgeting cycle, ensuring a robust and efficient process and that all deadlines are achieved
- Ensure month end processes are completed accurately and all deadlines are achieved
- Ensure useful and insightful management accounts are provided to the business
- Supporting all DHL eCommerce UK functions with insightful, quantitative reporting and analysis to be used in the decision making process
- Proactively use available technology and data management principles to streamline and continuously improve the way finance works
- Ensure compliance with global finance rules, processes and deadlines
- Responsibility for costing principles and allocation to support pricing framework and decisions
- Support the information and processes of the Controlling team
- Research operational issues and ensures application of Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analysis & Analytics applications to enhances business decision making capabilities.
- Manage internal and external data sets and conduct respective (management) reporting
- Assist in implementing policies and procedures regarding collating and analyzing data, develop new data analysis processes and assess analytics on an ongoing basis
- Assist monitor day to day trends to identify patterns in recorded data and support developing a predictive, real-time model-based insights for decision-making
- Communicate information effectively to senior management, conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Provides input to standards, policies and procedures for form, structure, and attributes of the BI tools and systems. The ideal candidate will have:
- More than 10 years experience
- Qualified finance professional
- Excellent system skills, especially in reporting tools, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong process skills to ensure efficient and accurate working
