Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and dedicated Household Personal Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive support to a private household. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage a wide range of household and administrative tasks efficiently. This role involves handling various personal and household responsibilities, managing schedules, coordinating activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of the household.,

  • Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support, including managing emails, handling correspondence, and preparing documents.

  • Organise and maintain household files, records, and databases, ensuring information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

  • Schedule and Calendar Management:

  • Manage and coordinate the household's calendar, scheduling appointments, family activities, and events.

  • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Communication and Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the principal and household staff, vendors, and external parties.

  • Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of the principal, ensuring clarity and professionalism.

  • Coordinate and communicate with other household staff members to ensure smooth operations.

  • Household Management:

  • Assist with the management of household budgets, expenses, and procurement of supplies.

  • Oversee household inventories, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and maintained.

  • Handle household-related errands, such as shopping, dry cleaning, and other personal tasks.

  • Travel Arrangements:

  • Plan and book travel itineraries for the principal and family members, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and other logistics.

  • Prepare detailed travel itineraries and ensure all necessary travel documents are in order.

  • Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Organise and coordinate household events, gatherings, and celebrations, including booking venues, arranging catering, and preparing materials.

  • Assist with the setup and execution of events, ensuring all details are managed effectively.

  • Personal Assistance:

  • Provide personal support to the principal and family members, including managing personal appointments and schedules.

  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.

    Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role, preferably in a household or private estate setting.

  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.

  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle urgent tasks.

  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.


  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a private household or luxury hospitality environment.

  • Knowledge of household management software and tools.

  • Certification in household management or a related field.

  • Multilingual abilities are an asset., Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)


  • Experience:
  • PA: 3 years (preferred)
