Cabling Engineer As a cabling engineer you will be responsible for cable pulling, dressing in and termination & testing of voice, CAT6 and fibre cables. You will have a strong understanding of health and safety which you will actively promote. Tasks include: - Installing comms cables (CAT6, Voice and Fibre multicore.? - Installing of various types of containment (tray / basket)- Termination of CAT6 panels and outlets- Termination of multicore Fibre using a splicer (Fujikura 60s / 70S experience and familiarity or similar preferred)- Testing copper & fibre cables using Fluke DSX and OTDR preferred- Patching cat6 and fibre cables- Fault Finding issueA CSCS or ECS qualification is required for the position. Cabling engineers will work on a shift pattern covering days and nights and be expected to be onsite 5 days per week.The initial contract is for 6 months.
