We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager for our client, who is one of the worlds largest engineering companies and Principal Contractor on 2 AIS Substation builds in South West Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management

As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing site management activities related to PT testing on 400kv equipment. You should have experience with CDM regulations and Scottish Power Authorisation requirements.

Health & Safety Compliance

The successful candidate must ensure compliance with all health and safety standards prescribed by HSE guidelines while conducting operations within this role.

Project Coordination (PC) Skills

You need to possess excellent project coordination skills that can help plan installation projects from start-to-finish effectively.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

- Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH General Certificate/Diploma level certification,

- Proven track record working directly onsite providing guidance regarding Health&Safety best practices;

- Prior experience managing high voltage substations;

- Knowledgeable about substation primary and secondary systems;

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Site Management Experience

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience working as a site manager on large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects. They must be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills, have knowledge about CDM regulations, HSE requirements specific for such sites along with Scottish Power Authorization.

400kv Expertise

As this position involves overseeing PT activities within high voltage substations (up-to 400kV), expertise in managing similar systems would prove beneficial.

Initial 6 month contract with a huge order book for continues work. CIS with a high competitive day rate.
