French Teacher (KS2 and KS3) & Classroom Teacher

Teacher of French (KS2 & KS3) and Classroom teacher Required 24th February 2025 or earlier if possible. Woodfield Academy joined the Bordesley MAT from Easter 2022. We work closely with Trinity High School, Birchensale Middle School and Holyoaks First School in a very localised MAT focusing on the development of children in Redditch. Working together as part of the three-tier system we aspire to improve the educational offer for the local community. Woodfield Academy is a popular 5-form entry middle school with pupils on roll aged 9-13 years. We are a happy, vibrant learning community, with high aspirations for the children in our care and the staff team that supports them. We are looking for a teacher to provide high quality, engaging teaching and learning to pupils from Year 5 to 8. This is a full time contract divided into two succinct parts: to be the main French teacher and lead on its delivery, supported by the languages faculty leader (0.7); and to teach other subjects within KS2 and KS3, supported by the relevant faculty leaders (0.3). Each applicants preferred subjects can be discussed at interview. The essential attributes are:
