Treloar's is a charity which runs one of the UK's largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspirations. We are looking to recruit Food Service Assistants to join our outstanding Catering team to provide front of house support in a welcoming and friendly environment where together with the kitchen, the catering team strive to deliver the highest service possible. The main duties will include helping to serve meals and provide service to our students at mealtimes within our dining rooms across the School and College. The Food Service Assistant will be required to serve hot and cold food in our onsite Café alongside carrying out general daily/weekly cleaning duties. The successful Food Service Assistant will have a good all round education including GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this. You should be able to work in a physically demanding and busy environment. Experience of working in a kitchen/catering setting is desirable but full training will be provided. We are looking to appoint: 1 x full time position at 39 hours per week, the rota will include a combination of shifts:

  • 7am - 3pm
  • 10am - 6pm
  • 11.45am - 7.45pm
  • The salary for this role is £19,898.74 per annum. 1 x part time position at 25 hours per week which will be based on a Monday - Friday rota, 9am - 2pm.
