Front of House Catering Assistant

The Bradbury Café is at the 'heart' of our Freeman Street Accommodation and Community building, providing visitors, residents and staff with an exceptional range of meals, snacks and beverages throughout the week.

With a friendly and polite attitude at all times the role of our Front of House Assistant is to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and customer care.

As a Relief worker, you will have the adaptability and flexibility to work to a pattern of hours to meet the needs of service delivery including annual leave and absence cover, and the willingness to undertake additional mandatory training including COSHH, Allergen and Intolerance and Basic Hygiene as standard.

The Bradbury Café is open Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 3.00 pm daily, and this ad-hoc role is ideal for individuals who already work in Hospitality and are willing to take on additional hours as and when required.

  YMCA Humber is a youth charity that supports anyone over 16 years old who is at risk of homelessness, living in North East Lincolnshire. We specialise in supported accommodation for young people by providing them with a safe environment which they can call a home, enabling individuals to grow and achieve their full potential.


Alongside providing accommodation we also offer a range of health and wellbeing drop-in sessions, youth and family services, a community café, and conference facilities.

As a real living wage employer YMCA Humber Relief Staff are paid a rate of £12.00 per hour with enhancements added to each shift, so if you have flexibility and a can-do attitude, with a willingness to work to a fluid rota we would love to hear from you.
