Full Job Description
- Promoting and supporting a first-class, professional reception and security service.
- Ensuring team adherence to uniform and procedural standards.
- Liaising with the BMA's event team to ensure a professional reception service.
- Handling internal/external client issues and escalating when required.
- Conducting administrative tasks and generating reports.
- Managing the weekly rota for both reception and security teams.
- Leading meetings with hosts/organisers to cover all details of functions.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the reception area.
- Developing the team through empowerment, support, and continuous training.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and conducting regular fire testing. Client Service and Visitor Experience:
- Managing internal and external bookings and liaising with various departments on conference requirements
- Delivering a 5-star service and warm welcome to all visitors.
- Monitoring customer feedback and producing appropriate action plans.
- Ensuring the reception desk is always manned and provides a welcoming, clean, safe, and secure environment.
- Supporting building management with ad-hoc duties as required.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for a motivated and professional Front of House Manager to join the team on our prestigious contract with the British Medical Association (BMA). We are looking for an experienced leader who can provide hands-on management and ensure an efficient, first-class service is offered to internal and external clients, ensuring the smooth operation of the reception and security service while motivating the team to excel., - Minimum 2 years' experience managing a team in a corporate environment or in a 5-star hotel.

- Immaculately groomed with a professional appearance.
- Polite, tactful, diplomatic, and patient.
- Organised, efficient, and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- IT literate in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of the Data Protection Act (DPA), Access Control, and CCTV Systems.
- Valid SIA security and CCTV Licences.
- Fire Marshal and First Aid training preferred.
- IOSH certification.
