Front of House Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Front of House Supervisor to join our hospital for a 12-month maternity cover. This position is crucial in ensuring that our Front of House operations run smoothly, providing patients and visitors with a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they enter our doors. Reporting to the Patient Services Manager, you'll lead our Front of House team to consistently exceed customer service standards and maintain our reputation for excellence in patient care.,

• Leadership and Team Development: Guide and motivate the Front of House team to deliver outstanding customer service, overseeing their training and professional presentation to ensure they meet hospital service standards.
• Patient and Visitor Experience: Act as a welcoming presence, directing patients, consultants, and visitors to their destinations and ensuring a smooth patient journey throughout their visit.
• Operations and Coordination: Collaborate closely with other departments, including wards and admissions, to facilitate efficient patient transport, admission, and discharge processes.
• Administrative and Reception Duties: Manage patient data collection and registration processes, oversee the telephone switchboard for effective communication, and maintain a clean, organised reception area.
• Safety and Security: Ensure the team follows security protocols, manage access control, issue security passes, and participate in emergency response procedures to maintain a safe environment for all.
• Resource Management: Manage Front of House uniforms and equipment to ensure resources are available and control costs effectively.
  
  To thrive in this role, you should be a customer service professional with experience in healthcare, hospitality, or related environments. You're a natural leader with a calm, organised approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards., Proven experience in a customer-facing role within healthcare, hospitality, or related fields.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and developing staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to providing a seamless, positive patient experience.
• Ability to remain calm, organised, and effective in high-pressure environments.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in data management and administrative tasks.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
