SSEN Distribution has an opportunity for a Frontline Technology Support Specialist in our Frontline Technology team within Distribution IT, Technology Digital And Data (TD&D) to play a key role in the adoption and embedment of new technology for our operational workers.

The main purpose of the Frontline Technology Support Specialist is to be the single point of contact, within the selected Distribution region for all things Mobile Technology and Digital applications to ensure technology is embedded into our frontline workforce.

The key duties & responsibilities will be:

- Upskill and coach others in mobile technology and applications, ensuring new technology is embedded into operational teams.

- Establish and facilitate weekly support clinics in depots to ensure workers have a reliable and consistent method of boots on the ground support.

- Establish and maintain highly effective relationships with teams across Distribution and IT TD&D.

- Collaborate closely with the Frontline Technology Leads to have visibility and understanding of existing and future deliverables within the Technology Road Map.

- Build a Technology Community in the region to enable peer to peer support - cascading of communications and capturing/escalating/resolving of issues.

Excellent communication skills, using Microsoft 365 applications & a natural flair for forging relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.

- Soft skills, with the ability to develop and coach less experienced employees .

- Experience in mobile technology hardware (phones and tablets) and digital applications.

- Experience in PowerApp development is advantageous , but not essential.

- Due to requirement to travel between sites, a full and current UK driving license is a requirement .

Salary: £33,500 - £50,300 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available. For internal Operational workers, standby will be granted.
