Full Job Description
Reporting directly to the Director of Fulfilment, you will be responsible for the operational teams across regions ensuring that EVRi maximises its margins while delivering service excellence to our client base. Fixated by detail and with strong commercial understanding, you will ensure that the core processes within the warehouse are optimised to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently. You will galvanise support and buy-in from the broader team by deploying solid people management and leadership skills, whilst also developing and coaching wherever necessary to ensure various targets are achieved and continually improved. The Area Manager plays a crucial role in an organisation by creating and implementing policies that help achieve strategic goals. This role involves coordinating business operations to meet customer expectations and maintain appropriate service levels and staffing. You will oversee and optimise the fulfilment process to ensure that products or services are delivered to customers on time and according to specifications. This position also involves managing relationships with suppliers and other internal stakeholders. As the primary point of escalation for any operational service issues. In summary, the Area Manager is a critical role that requires excellent organisational and leadership skills. The ability to develop and implement policies, manage resources, and build relationships with stakeholders is essential to the success of this position. - Expansion and Growth: Implementing new fulfilment operations, scaling up operations and overseeing fast growing, multi-site operations.
- Order Fulfilment Process Management: You will oversee the entire order fulfilment process, including order entry, administration, and shipping. Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory monitoring procedures to maintain accurate inventory storage and management. Coordinate with clients via the Client Development Managers and manage inventory to meet customer demand.
- Team Management: Oversee and manage a team responsible for various tasks such as order fulfilment, customer experience, and agency utilisation. Provide training and support and conduct performance evaluations for the team.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse data and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as costs, productivity, processing accuracy and output to customer forecasts. Use data to identify areas for improvement and guide strategic decision-making.
- Supply Chain Optimisation: Plan and optimise the supply chain, including warehousing, inventory management, and future strategic initiatives, which enable scalability. Collaborate with various departments and third-party logistics partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Strategic Decision-Making: Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Provide input into developing the budget and manage financial aspects related to order fulfilment and supply chain operations.
- Responsible for Global Fulfilment Operations managing vendors to ensure they deliver within SLA and budget.
5+ years of work experience and keen in developing a successful career within a 3PL logistics provider, supply chain, logistics and distribution or operations environment in an international company. - Full, clean drivers licence
- Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget, and quality in a related industry.
- Contribute to process improvements and cost optimisation initiatives in collaboration with the EU and Worldwide Operations, Supply Chain, Retail, Customer Service and Transportation teams.
- Proficiency in Analytical tools, as Data-warehouse tables; SQL / Power BI.
