Full Job Description
JLR are currently looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their industry leading Software Engineering Team. To be a successful candidate, you will be able to design/implement full-stack web tooling to enable the software teams to produce high-quality products efficiently. You will need to be able to refine and decompose feature requests into manageable work items that can be implemented by the team. You will be expected to enable effective Agile planning and team's work process automation through review and refinement and best practice development with the Scrum Master and Product Owner to identify and estimate stories, tasks and the value of technical debt. Other responsibilities include supporting the team operations, growth of work quality and quantity and lead development activities. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for delivering software solutions to produce development tools and associated infrastructure. Responsibilities include.
- Taking feature requests and refining them into technical requirements and designs with support from the squad.
- Implementing complex solutions in software and verification to ensure the solution meets the feature requests.
- Manage Sprint Velocity, Business Value Increment per Sprint, Technical Debt Backlog.
- Progress to 'North Star' for the software development process within JLR.
Must have full stack experience in developing web applications using Javascript, Node.js and a framework such as React, Angular, Vue or Svelte, and selecting appropriate design patterns (static site generation, server-side rendering etc.). - Must have experience with both SQL and NoSQL as well as running cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in C#.
- Experience managing code using Git and CI solutions - Gitlab/Github/TeamCity/Jenkins etc.
- Utilisation of Test-Driven Development and experience utilising Docker. Creating Modern Luxury requires a modern approach to work.
