Full Job Description

What Does Being a Care Assistant Involve? As a Care Assistant, you will support clients in their homes, helping them with daily needs to enable them to remain in the home they love. Your job as Care Assistant will include:

Providing a minimum of 1-hour visits
Introductions to all new clients with another Care Assistant present
Delivering companionship-led care services
Assisting with shopping, general household tasks, and preparing fresh food
Building strong professional relationships with clients
Offering a variety of non-medical services to help clients maintain independence in their own homes
Assisting with personal care routines
Medication administration and keeping accurate daily records

£12.70 per care hour
Paid travel and wait time between clients
Additional 45p per mile
28 days paid holiday
