Full Job Description
We are looking Functional Safety Product Owner to join our Propulsion Control System Functional Safety Design Squads. As a member of the team delivering the electrified future at Jaguar Land Rover, you will work on cutting-edge technology with a highly driven and supportive group of individuals. As a Functional Safety Product Owner, you will oversee Functional Safety Work Product review processes as well as defining the squad's Product Vision and Backlog in order to coordinate the delivery (system design, software implementation, calibration, and verification) of Safety Case for Propulsion features across specific vehicle programmes. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Led the squad's mission, vision, and outcomes.
- Managed Functional Safety Work Product review processes.
- Prioritised work based on business and customer impact to drive delivery direction.
- Ensure initial alignment and coordination with other interacting squads or groups.
- Rapidly responding to changing client demands through quick, regular feedback and reprioritisation.
- Confidently and clearly communicate concerns and recommended feasible solutions and deliver frequent status updates to all stakeholder levels.
- Assist the squad in resolving significant technical challenges.
Strong knowledge of Safety Case management and Functional Safety work product traceability. - Knowledge of ISO 26262 or other safety standards.
- Previous experience in similar role leading technical product development.
- Excellent planning and prioritisation skills, as well as proficiency in certifiable processes within agile practices, open minded with an interest in exploring new fields, ability to deal with uncertainty.
- Experience of building and managing internal and external relationships in complex stakeholder environments. Creating Modern Luxury requires a modern approach to work.
