Full Job Description

To provide support to the Apprenticeship team in the delivery of apprenticeship programmes usingvarious functional skills educational tools/ resources. To lead on exam invigilation, devise and developrelevant functional skills education resources/ materials and provide teaching, feedback and support tolearners.

To providetimely reports to all relevant external Informationsystemsand providethe Apprenticeshipteamandmanagerswithinformedprogress reports.

To support learners with a focuson the development,supportand timely achievementof functionalskillsaspartoftheapprenticeshipqualification.

Supportwiththeembeddingoffunctionalskillsintotaughtsessionsonpracticebasedtopics

TocompletetasksasdelegatedbytheQualityAssuranceManagerinconnectionwiththesuccessfulrunningoftheapprenticeshipprogrammes.

To teach and assess Functional skills English/ Maths on the apprenticeship programmesincludingthe developmentand maintenanceof schemes of work and lesson plans which should be updated on aregularbasis

To support the timelyachievement of apprenticeships and take responsibility for the FunctionalSkillscomponents

To supportthe apprenticeship delivery team within curriculum areas to embed FunctionalSkills inschemesofworkandlessonplans.

To devise a programmeof learning (schemeof work) with appropriateeffective teachingand learningstrategies,resourcesandassessments.

Tomaintainattendanceregisters,recordsofprogressandensureLearnersarecorrectlyenrolledwiththeTrustandAwardingBodies.

To provide classroomassistanceto the Apprenticeship Assessorswith learners particularly those thatrequireadditionalonetoonesupportorfunctionalskillstraining.

To support other apprenticeship team members in understandingthe individual'sduties, to enableappropriatecover. To contributeto the Induction of new staff to develop knowledge and skills for theirrole.
