Full Job Description

The Fund Controller is a core member of the Fund Management team as part of the Fund Operations and Services team and the Operations department, responsible for contributing to all aspects of the operational management of our Private Equity and Solutions products and beyond.,

  • Operational management and support of the Schroders Capital Private Equity and Solutions products (e.g. reporting, cash management, coordination)
  • Interaction with investors, fund managers, investment partners, auditors, administrators and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Oversight investment reports that form the basis for Schroders Capital's reporting obligations to investors at portfolio company and investment fund level and analyze information
  • Manage internal workflows and ensure that all applicable deadlines are met
  • Enable, support and drive change initiatives within Fund Operations
  • Support and coordinate (if required) projects as well as the optimization and maintenance of our processes
  • Define and determine business requirements proactively
  • Contribute to a supportive and creative environment
  • Support other team members proactively and without being asked

    Experience at a financial services company
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as finance, accounting, administration or controlling, or experience in a relevant role
  • Experience in working with colleagues and stakeholders globally and sensitivity to cultural differences
  • Team player, role model, self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • The knowledge, experience and qualifications that'll help
  • Experience in the private equity industry or any other private asset class (e.g. real estate, private debt, infrastructure)
  • Knowledge in eFront software
  • Fluent in another European language, both written and spoken
  • Self-starter mentality with a hands-on attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time-sensitive deadlines
  • Credible communicator with a senior audience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and simple way
  • Organised with a good attention to detail
