Full Job Description

  • Being involved from the outset on the fund launch and initial deployment
  • Be an expert on the fund documentation and all operating and reporting obligations
  • Pricing investments and working with administrators to calculate the fund NAV
  • Preparation and review of investor reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
  • Oversight of third party administrators
  • Be the escalation point with the external auditors
  • Establish a close working relationship with portfolio manager, depositary and external AIFM
  • Performance analysis, both of the investments and portfolio as a whole
  • Preparing liquidity forecasts, and coordinating investor drawdowns and distributions
  • Calculation of foreign currency exposures
  • Assisting the internal colleagues within the investment team, investment operations, tax counsel and in-house legal on deal support, including operational due diligence
  • Assisting the client care team with investors' queries, where relevant
  • Preparing ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Updating internal systems to account for AUM, transactions, and fees billable and reconcile internal records with the administrator's primary records
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and leading the design and implementation of control improvements
  • Reviewing the work of junior members of the team

    ACA / ACCA qualified with 4+ years PQE
  • Prior relevant investment management experience either with Big Four or top tier accountancy firm, or experience at a real estate or private equity at a fund manager or through audit experience preferred strong financial control and analytical skills are essential
  • Good problem-solving, excellent attention to detail and strong excel skills are essential
  • Proactive and able to organize your own work and schedule, with ability to meet deadlines
  • Team player - able to work effectively and collaboratively within a small, dedicated team but also with the external service providers (ie. dministrators)
  • Ability to prioritise and work across multiple projects
