Fund Manager (Global Fixed Income)

We are currently looking for a Fund Manager to join the Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) Credit Team in London.

You will co-manage active global fixed income portfolios alongside the lead fund manager. You will also undertake credit research as required and support marketing efforts of RLAM, with particular emphasis on Sustainable strategies.

You will collaborate with other teams across the Client Group and Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence. You will also collaborate with a sister role within Royal London Group to ensure the procedural framework remains robust and is consistently applied in both teams.

About the role

• Co-management of global investment grade portfolios


• To develop and maintain knowledge of RLAM's Sustainable processes. Ensure that Environmental, Social and Governance risks are considered and evaluated in the construction and management of clients' portfolios. Work with RLAM's Responsible Investment team and other Sustainable stakeholders


• Collaborate with Quants Manager to support global investment grade strategies


• Ensure that IMA constraints and investment policies are adhered to and to develop and maintain knowledge of RLAM's portfolio risk systems


• To contribute to investment decisions of RLAM Fixed Income team and to increase knowledge of credit and wider fixed interest markets.
  
  Knowledge of fixed income markets, especially global investment grade


• Good knowledge of data systems (Bloomberg, Aladdin, Power BI, Excel)


• Some knowledge of derivatives preferable


• Willingness to study for relevant qualifications that will be important to the role


• Aptitude to learn financial analysis and develop wider fund management skills


• Enthusiasm for Sustainable investing
