Full Job Description

Do you enjoy making a difference and working in an office alongside a fun and enthusiastic team. As a volunteer in this role, you will help the fundraising team at Springboard to raise money through your administrative support. You will also research and reach out to people who might be able to support Springboard and enable us to help more young people who need our support. This is a great opportunity to use your skills to make a meaningful and tangible difference to the lives of so many people. This role would be ideal for someone with fundraising or administrative experience. The main aim of the role is to assist the Head of Income Generation and Marketing and Volunteer Coordinator in the planning and delivering the fundraising appeal that Springboard are soon to be embarking on. Tasks you will be helping with are:

  • Researching funding opportunities
  • Researching potential sponsors and donors
  • Following new leads for fundraising
  • Writing letters: doing the ask for donations
  • Outreach (in-person, via email and on the phone) to local businesses
  • The role would require few hours each week (during office hours) and you'd be usually working in our office at Springboard House in Horsham. We are looking for help from a volunteer to support our important work in raising money for our renovation project at Springboard House. You will have a direct impact on raising vital funds and raising our profile. What will you get out of it?

    We are a registered charity and our main focus is on removing barriers and transforming lives for children, young people and their families.

    An inclusive stay and play centre based in Horsham, West Sussex for all families with children to explore, play, and have fun (stay and play).
  • Activities for children and young people with disabilities aged 0 - 25 years. Sessions run in the evenings, weekends, and every school holiday. We operate out of many locations including Horsham, Crawley, Worthing and Sutton (Short Breaks).
