We are seeking an experienced administrator with an interest in fundraising who will provide excellent support to our Legacy and Trusts teams and be involved with fundraising campaigns and mailings and trust research and applications. The postholder will be a vital support in the development and income growth of our Legacies, In-memory and Trusts fundraising, providing exceptional supporter care as well as managing general fundraising administration.

You will need to manage data, deal with third party suppliers, and maintain accurate records on our bespoke CRM. You will manage a busy and varied workload, escalate issues where appropriate, and will need to have the ability to speak compassionately to bereaved supporters (training provided), and manage a range of relationships internally and externally.

You will be able to articulate our work to our supporters. You will assist in written communications, digital communications, and be part of a wider fundraising team which seeks to attract new audiences, whilst retaining our existing audience, showcasing our ground-breaking research and innovative science.

We are looking for someone with experience of working in a fundraising environment in a varied administrative role. You will need to have proven administration skills, be able to multitask and have excellent time management skills. You will have experience in using data and a CRM. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate across all levels using different tools (post, email, telephone and social media).

Experience of working in a team and an ability to communicate with a diverse audience is key.
