Full Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented customer service professional to join our team at W.S. Bonds in Chiswick, London, as a Funeral Service Arranger. In this role, you will provide personalised, empathetic support to families, ensuring every farewell is dignified and thoughtfully planned. Join us in making a meaningful impact during life's most difficult moments., As a Funeral Service Arranger, you will play a vital role in offering support to families both in person, over the phone, and via email. You will balance compassionate client care with essential administrative duties, ensuring every detail is meticulously managed. You will work closely with our back-of-house teams to coordinate preparations and ensure a seamless handover to Funeral Directors for the day of the funeral. You will liaise with third parties, including doctors, crematoriums, churches, places of worship, coroners, florists, and transport providers, to arrange all necessary aspects of the funeral. Additionally, you will confidently manage the branch independently, acting as the sole representative when required. This role provides the opportunity to demonstrate your teamwork skills while also handling responsibilities autonomously, allowing you to make a significant impact in the service we provide.,

  • Provide compassionate, personalised support to families, helping them arrange funeral services that honour their loved ones.
  • Coordinate with third parties (doctors, crematoriums, churches, cemeteries, coroners, florists, transport providers, and catering services when required) to manage all aspects of funeral arrangements and ensure a seamless experience for families.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as managing paperwork, keeping accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies.
  • Coordinate all aspects of funeral services, making sure every arrangement is in place and all products/services are explained clearly to clients.
  • Prepare the chapel and the deceased for visits, ensuring the environment is welcoming and respectful.
  • While primarily based at W.S. Bonds in Chiswick you may be required to work at nearby locations to meet operational needs.

    You have excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with clients face-to-face, over the phone, and via email.

  • Annual Salary: £28,561.98 per annum (£14.33 per hour)
