Full Job Description

We are bespoke manufacturers of bespoke furniture working alongside architects, interior designers, and private clients on luxury projects such as show apartments, penthouses and high end residential.

Typical duties will include spraying paint & lacquers (also tinting & staining) with AC and PU finishes. Spraying on a wide variety of bespoke made to measure products manufactured from solid timbers, veneered and MDF products. Working alongside the team you will be responsible for Managing final quality.

You must have at least 4 years prior experience in modern and traditional finishing / polishing techniques and be able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team to exacting standards and carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and area. Attention to detail is essential.

There may be times when you will be required to assist in other areas of the workshop assisting the team hit deadlines.

There may be rare occasions when you will be required to attend our installation sites.

· Preparation - Sand, fill, prime as required to prepare work

· Experience in spraying AC, PU, clear, tinted and coloured lacquers and paints

· A good understanding of colour matching and mixing

· Knowledge and ability to control quality processes needed to spray consistent finishes across multi-phased projects

· Working knowledge of surface preparation techniques within a bespoke Joinery environment

· Booth maintenance - Keeping the booth and surrounding area clean and tidy

· Hand finishing - Hand applied finishing products such as soils and stains are also used

· Wrapping - Meticulously wrap the work, ensuring it's protected and will arrive for installation in perfect condition

What you'll need:

· A minimum of 4-years' experience within wood furniture spraying and finishing

· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to stay calm when under pressure

· A team working and collaborative approach

· An understanding of joinery production

· Full clean drivers' licence would be beneficial but not essential
