Full Job Description

  • Assist in sourcing and evaluation of new investments, implemented through funds and mandate. Proactively building market relationships and consistently sharing findings to with wider team;
  • Perform detailed due diligence which includes running quantitative models alongside a range of private markets specific qualitative assessments;
  • Assist in preparation of investment committee memos and presenting to the committee;
  • Conduct ad hoc market and thematic research as required by the portfolio management team, using insights gained from the work completed on making fund and mandate investments;
  • Monitor investments through review of quarterly and annual materials; participating in annual meetings and LPAC as required;
  • Assist in the writing of regular reporting, fund investment updates; and
  • Work with the business development team to create materials based on market reviews and investments made.

    Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field;
  • Experience in private markets funds investing gained from working at fund of funds, private markets advisory firms, or private markets teams within investment consultancies;
  • Excellent financial analysis skills and ability to create / work on complex Excel models;
  • Keenness and ability to cultivate broad and active network of private markets manager relationships; and
  • Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
