Full Job Description
Future U is a collaborative outreach programme bringing together universities, colleges, schools and businesses across Lancashire. Future U is part of the Office for Students' Uni Connect Programme, which supports young people to overcome barriers, fulfil their potential and increase progression to Level 4 study and beyond. The Senior Outreach Officer will oversee a programme of outreach activities to support learners in targeted schools. Working with the wider Future U central team, partners and other stakeholders work collaboratively to off specific opportunities to support groups of learners who are underrepresented at HE. The role holder will be expected to coordinate a range of collaborative projects with Future U's partner institutions.
Candidates will be educated to undergraduate level or have the equivalent experiential learning. The post holder will have experience in widening participation within the educational sector together with experience co-ordinating projects with multiple areas of activity. You will have excellent IT skills and interpersonal communication skills along with the ability to develop and maintain accurate records.
