FY1 in Acute & Specialty Medicine 4 Month Fixed Term to April 2025

This post offers an excellent opportunity for a doctor wishing to enhance their CV and gain experience in Acute & Specialty Medicine. The post holder will be ward based during the normal working day and expected to deliver the daily medical care of all the patients on their ward. Out of hours, the successful candidate will be involved with the generic clerking of patients being admitted and the ongoing care of the patients in the medical wards throughout the hospital, as well as being part of the crash team.

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is a large acute Trust serving South West London and Surrey. It comprises two Acute Hospitals: Epsom General Hospital and St Helier Hospital; Queen Mary's Hospital for Children; Elective Orthopaedic Hospital (EOC) and a Private Patient Unit.
