As part of this, you'll develop productive working relationships with a range of colleagues from across and beyond King's.

You will need strong operational, technical and project management skills, combined with a collaborative, can-do attitude and a desire to work in a team where higher education and the creative industries combine to deliver innovation, impact and engagement.

This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31 July 2025.

The role requires regular weekend working as part of a standard Tuesday-Saturday working week, and out of hours work as necessary for certain events.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of building productive working relationships with range of venue-based teams

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures in a gallery context

  • Adaptable, flexible and capable of both focus and calm when working under pressure

  • Ability to assess risks and to choose appropriately from a range of options applying standards, guidelines and precedent.

  • Experience of or a demonstrable understanding of working in a university

  • A passion for science, the arts and meaningful public engagement with them

Working across King's to develop creative and cultural projects for research, engagement and impact

  • King's Culture brings together King's researchers, students, artists, cultural partners and community groups to develop creative programmes that inspire and instigate conversation and action. You'll find free exhibitions, events, screenings and talks across two King's sites: Science Gallery London on Guy's Campus, just steps away from the Shard, and across the pedestrianised streets and public spaces of the Strand Campus.

For over ten years, King's Culture has worked across and beyond the university to foster creative collaborations between researchers, artists, students and partners for knowledge exchange and impact. The partnerships and collaborations developed by King's Culture enhance research and drive innovation, enrich education through original learning opportunities and help King's to deliver on the commitments set out in Vision 2029.
