Gap Year Sports Assistant

Claremont Fan Court School has a successful PE program which provides a wide range of sports to pupils throughout the school. We require a sports assistant to support predominantly girls' games in the junior school on a fixed-term contract until July 2024.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about sport and looking to gain valuable experience within the education sector. You may be having a break before heading to university or looking to start your career in sports. As a sports assistant you will play a key role in supporting PE lessons and leading girls' teams in both lessons and at fixtures in netball, gymnastics, football or track and field.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 5.30pm and every Saturday morning (away fixtures occasionally merge into the afternoon) in term time.

The successful candidate will ideally hold a coaching qualification in one of the key sports and be comfortable officiating/refereeing in that sport. Above all you will be cheerful, enthusiastic and a sporting role model to all pupils.
