We are looking for a Horticultural Manager to join our forward-thinking team. Working in the Garden Centre this is a high-volume environment with a fast turnaround., Duties will include:
Maintenance of the plant area.
Supervising duties including key holder opening and closing store as required
Excellent customer service.
Organising team schedules and any staff issues.
Evaluating employee performance and providing training and guidance as needed.
Filling in for absent employees and assisting teams as needed to successfully complete projects.
Ensuring that employees follow company policies as well as health and safety regulations.
Ensuring a high and consistent standard of customer service.
Business compliance in accordance with Health and Safety and food safety laws and regulations.

The successful candidate should have proven managerial experience and be physically fit as this is a very hands-on role and some heavy lifting may be required.

A highly motivated individual that has a passion for exceptional retail standards, driving sales & great customer service
Management experience & 2 years of plant knowledge a must, previous work within horticulture required., Excellent customer service.
Supervisory experience.
Able to work on one's own initiative.
Adhering to company policies.
Work well under pressure.
Good time management.
Professionalism and reliability.
