We are looking for a Gardener to join our experienced team.

Marlborough College is spread across nearly 300 acres and we have a variety of formal and informal spaces to look after. From beautiful formal gardens to encouraging the natural wilderness to prosper, our gardening team get to work in a wide range of spaces and to work on new projects right across the Estate.

We are looking for someone to join our skilled team who has a proven record in high quality horticultural work, has the energy and the enthusiasm to look after our environment and who enjoys working in a beautiful setting. The role is full time and we start at 7.30am, Monday - Friday.

You will be a good team worker with a responsive nature; someone with an eye for detail and a willingness to learn and gain qualifications. The Head Gardener is keen to encourage development and while you may not have formal qualifications at this point in your career (eg RHS, NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications in Practical Horticulture) she will be encouraging you to develop in the role. You will need a full driving licence and a competent level of IT skills, but a wide range of practical training will be provided.
