Full Job Description

Want to volunteer from the comfort of your own home? We might have the perfect volunteer position for you! The UCB Prayerline Team is looking for friendly and outgoing individuals, to join the team from different regions across the UK.

Your responsibilities will include answering the telephone for a minimum of two hours per week, and praying for callers quoting relevant Bible scriptures in order to encourage them during their current situation. For more information, please take a look at the role description.

The ideal volunteers will be people who are happy to offer their time flexibly during the day, evening or weekends and enjoy the challenge of listening and praying with people. As you'll be asked to quote scripture, it's a requirement that Prayerline volunteers are committed Christians in good standing with a local church. You'll be fully trained and supported and relevant equipment will be provided., Our broadcasting centre in Hanchurch is blessed to be in the heart of beautiful countryside; as a result, our grounds and gardens require constant attention in order to maintain them in keeping with the surrounding natural environment.

We are looking for reliable volunteers who can contribute to the work of the ministry. If you have good communication skills, are well organised, reliable and can work independently or as a team player then come and get involved! Some roles will require volunteers who are computer literate or have good administration skills; whatever your abilities we would love to hear from you.

United Christian Broadcasters has some exciting opportunities for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about UCB and the work that we do. If you have a few hours to spare each week and want to get involved in helping advance God's Kingdom then we want to hear from you!

We currently have volunteer positions at both our Operations Centre in Burslem and Broadcasting Centre in Hanchurch. Our departments are diverse and require a range of people with different skills and abilities; you could be involved in tasks such as booking guests for a radio show, researching content for one of our publications, helping keep our buildings clean or packing material to be sent out to supporters.
