Full Job Description

As a Gas Install Engineer you will be expected to carry out new boiler installations, including straight swap combi, heat only and system boilers as well as system or heat only conversions to combi boilers for our internal and external customers in a safe manner.

As part of this team, you will be able to install new boilers in line with the manufacturer's instructions and all current regulations in a safe manner, identify and record any defects found, reporting parts/work required and follow van stock and material ordering procedures.

Although this role is advertised in a specific region you will be working in surrounding areas.

The working hours are 40 per week across Monday to Friday, there is no call out rota for this role.

You will have a good understanding of domestic heating systems, a sound knowledge of boiler installs and boiler conversions, including flues, pipework, and system upgrades.

  • A driving licence is essential.

  • relevant technical gas qualification to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification)

  • Possess all ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, CKR1 and HTR1

  • Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation

  • As part of our employment checks, this role will require you to complete a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
