An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Gas Operations Manager to join our Hard Facilities Management team. The role is based in Dartford and is responsible for managing a number of domestic and commercial gas contracts., We now have an exciting opportunity for a Gas Operations Manager to join our maintenance and repairs team. This team is responsible for providing gas/boiler repairs, boiler servicing and installations in domestic and commercial properties. We look after more than 9,000 residential properties and over 300 buildings for 20 NHS trusts across our portfolio. Based out of our office in Dartford and reporting to the Head of Technical Services you will take responsibility for managing a number of domestic and commercial gas contracts across predominantly London and the South East. As part of the role, as Gas Operations Manager you manage a team of gas and mechanical engineers and subcontractors who provide repairs, services, reactive maintenance, installations within residential proprieties through to commercial boiler room plant, ensuring the delivery of SLAs and contractual compliance for this wide variety of contracts across our diverse client portfolio. You will also assist the Head of Technical Services with small works, projects, lifecycle and problem solving out in the field. The successful Gas Operations Manager will work closely with the administration team to ensure that works are managed, and our client/customers are kept informed of any changes to planned attendance or completion of the work. You will also monitor and manage the engineers performance and identify any training needs within the team.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing commercial and domestic gas contracts. You will have excellent people management skills and have the ability to lead, motivate and develop others to succeed in their roles and to achieve targets. Domestic and Commercial ACS Gas qualifications along with a full UK driving license will be required.
