Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled person to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside and support gassing works at our site, reporting to a senior Gas Manager & the Site Manager.
How You'll Make an Impact

  • Maintain appropriate records and adhere to SC04 policy

  • Assist with compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality Plans

  • Coordinate with other work parties to ensure efficient and safe working

  • Proactively engage with the Work Party Leader to tackle any issues

  • Assist in the production of method statements and risk assessments

  • Ensure all tools and equipment are utilised optimally

  • Report progress of the activity to the Work Party Leader

  • Continually pursue personal development and skills enhancement

    CSCS Card / CCNSG Safety Passport

  • Manual Handling Training

  • SF6, Sphera & SC04 training

  • NG Person, BESC - Substations, Impressed Voltage Awareness Training (for NG Contracts)

  • Desirable:

  • MEWP and Harness Awareness Training

  • Slinger Signaler

  • 3-day First Aid Training

  • NSI 6 & 8 (Limited, for NG Contracts)

  • SSE Cat 3 (for SSE Contracts)

  • Proven track record to work independently or as part of a team

  • Reliable with a commitment to high-quality work

  • Excellent record-keeping
