Full Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Service Engineer to join our growing Maintenance Team. This role is responsible for providing a high quality, customer focused gas installation, maintenance and associated repairs service for both the organisation's own properties and external customers. The key duties include carrying out gas central heating installations, , radiators and all ancillary components. To carryout out landlord gas safety inspections and repairs with certifications as legally required and to ensure that works are completed within timescales. To ensure that all gas work is carried out in accordance with the Gas Safety Regulations and operational procedures.
The successful candidate must hold a domestic Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) in gas fitting and an unvented hot water certificate. You must have a good knowledge of gas regulations and working practices along with experience in health & safety legislation and procedures. It is also essential that you are competent in fault finding and rectification on varied heating systems and you have the multi-skills knowledge and competency to effectively carry out gas related works.
You will be required to participate in our out of hours work rotas as required. You must also hold a valid UK driving licence.
The successful candidate will require an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) certificate which is considered acceptable to Housing Solutions., Disability Confident
