Full Job Description
As a Mechanical Fitter at Siemens Energy, you'll play a crucial role in assembling, Stripping, reusing and maintaining small gas turbine components. Your day will involve hands-on mechanical work, using tools and equipment to ensure that every part meets our exacting standards. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll contribute to projects that power communities and industries worldwide.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
- Precision and Excellence: Use a variety of tools to carry out a range of fitting operations within the Casing cell with meticulous care.
- Collaborative Environment: Foster open communication with supporting departments, creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
- Culture of Innovation: Maintain a culture of excellence and tidiness through 5S practices, while constantly seeking process improvement ideas.
- Quality and Safety: Uphold a strong commitment to quality and safety, ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations.
Expertise: Experience in a relevant mechanical industry, preferably exposed to mechanical fitting related to rotating equipment
- Qualifications: Preferably completed a recognized full level 3 apprenticeship, Candidates will also be considered that have an NVQ level 3 or technical certificate in a relevant engineering field.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail ensures every component is crafted with precision in line with company standards.
- Dedication to Safety: Strong safety and quality driven mindset and collaborative teamwork approach.
