  • Managed Services: provide compliance services to global clients across a range of tax, accounting, transfer pricing obligations under a managed service arrangement

  • Technology: help clients leverage the right technology, tools and platforms to transform their tax function

  • Tax Operating Model: collaborate with clients to build and operate a leading tax function, managing tax risk, opportunities, reputation and compliance

  • Data Management: support client tax teams to maximise the use of data available in the organisation in order to effectively manage the Tax Function


  • At Director level you will be proactive, curious, committed and invested in self development and learning. You will be resilient, able to flex and be experienced in leading a successful team. You will have excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail. You will network confidently and knowledgably communicate with all levels in a professional services environment. Your will have strong business development client facing skills with a proven history of identifying opportunities and converting them into commercial projects.

    Transfer Pricing Compliance

    Transfer Pricing compliance is becoming increasingly specialised and integrated with wider statutory accounting and tax compliance on a global basis. This role is for a Transfer Pricing specialist who brings together the knowledge and capabilities across transformation, technology, programme management and technical Transfer Pricing knowledge to successfully win and lead large scale global transfer pricing compliance projects.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    You will be required to work within KPMG's Global Compliance Managed Services team to accelerate the growth of our Transfer Pricing compliance business, build strong client relationships and lead the delivery of large and complex global engagements in the area. Specifically, key aspects of this role will include:
  • Lead the business development process to progress leads to sales and taking responsibility for contract negotiation and agreement for Transfer Pricing compliance engagements;

  • Successfully articulate the KPMG value proposition on global centralised Transfer Pricing compliance engagements and nexus with other service areas within managed services including leading workshops with clients in the BD and delivery stages explaining our end-to-end process and use of technology;

  • Lead the overall delivery of global Transfer Pricing compliance projects including being the technical lead on the project; sign off commercial proposition; sign-off template; lead client relationship and project governance;

  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with both existing and new clients;

  • Be confident interacting at the most senior levels internally and externally, while at the same time able to interact well with peers and other more junior members of the team;

  • Build an internal network within the wider tax and advisory practices of our firm;

  • Enable effective governance and issue resolution;

  • Support clients with broader tax operational areas including managing key risks and embedding controls and identifying transformation / advisory opportunities;

  • Identify opportunities of additional services that the client may need and liaise with subject specialists;

  • Coach and provide support for other team members;

  • Follow KPMG best practice and policy;

  • Have a positive and enthusiastic manner in dealing with a cross section of people;

  • Demonstrate strong resilience to enable flexibility in approach and ability to work under pressure; and

  • Be an effective networker with ability to understand client needs.

    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to a range of situations and audiences from both written and oral perspective;

  • Strong attention to detail, to enable you to review complex technical, whilst maintaining an overall strategic and customer service focused perspective, for all deliverables we produce for our clients;

  • Excellent internal networking skills with the ability to confidently and knowledgably communicate with other Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners within our professional services environment;

  • Strong business development and client facing skills with a proven history of being able to identify opportunities and converting them; and

  • Excellent project management skills and an ability to manage your own workload, as well the workloads of others in your team.

  • Transfer Pricing technical knowledge and experience in leading Transfer Pricing compliance / advisory projects.
