UK Security Clearance (SC) may be required and maintained for some of our placement roles. Due to the nature of work, some of these roles are restricted to candidates who are a British National, or a dual National where one of the dual nationalities is British subject to any restrictions. Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements for UK Security Clearance will therefore not be eligible for some of our roles on grounds of national security. If UK Security Clearance is not obtained for some roles, any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.

Roles and Responsibilities

In the 12-month Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering Placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience covering all aspects of engineering from requirements analysis to product design to defining test specifications.

Within this Placement, you could be operating in technical environments supporting manufacturing and product quality, jet engines and aircraft structures production and overhaul, oil and gas products for downhole technology, measurement and sensing or looking at computed models for product design.

You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aerospace experience. As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to submit an initial CV application. After this, you may be invited to a video interview.
