In the 12-month Human Resources (HR) Placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience in covering all aspects of HR including recruitment, employee relations and engagement., In the 12-month Human Resources (HR) Placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience in covering all aspects of HR including recruitment, employee relations and engagement. You could be working alongside our HR teams, supporting with performance reviews, absence management, disciplinary and grievance meetings, helping to implement HR policies and procedures and working on various simplification projects. You could also support talent selection and onboarding whilst embracing culture and engagement activity. You could be helping us find the next talent for GE Aerospace, in the Early Careers space (apprentices, placements and graduates). Whichever path you go down, you will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aerospace experience. Your People Leader will offer coaching and mentoring, and you will be provided with the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK. - Currently studying or recently achieved a HR/Business/Psychology bachelor's or master's degree
- On course or achieved a 2:1 degree Desired Characteristics
- Able to roll up your sleeves and get involved in projects
- Organised & able to work towards deadlines
- Inspired and curious to learn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to take ownership for projects
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to work as part of a team
