Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity Therapist

To work with clients of TransPlus, Chelsea & Westminster's Gender Identity Clinic (GIC). To provide specialised GSRD therapy to clients, focussed on challenges they are facing in relating to their gender journey, diagnosis and ongoing gender care. To offer advice and consultation on clients' GSRD concerns to colleagues. Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures., The post holder will work alongside the MDT within TransPlus, including the Wellbeing Service and other talking therapies services within the team. The post holder would be expected to provide short- to medium term evidence based GSRD therapy to clients and their partners for a range of difficulties related gender dysphoria, and issues relating to accessing gender affirming care. We also anticipate that the post holder may contribute to the future design of the GSRD pathway within TransPlus, and may in the future have responsibility for supervising trainee GSRD therapists.
