General Catering Assistant (Annualised Hours)

30 hours a week on an annualised hours contract for 42 weeks a year, We are looking for a General Catering Assistant to join our well-established Estates and Facilities Directorate at Canterbury Christ Church University., You will work as part of a team in the food and beverage outlet on our Medway Campus providing catering and hospitality services. The post of General Catering Assistant will involve working in the Medway Touchdown Café., 30 hours per week worked over five days for 42 weeks of the year. No Bank Holidays. A requirement to work two Saturdays a year to support our Open Days. Hours and weeks to be worked would be agreed with the successful candidate.

Working with the Chef Manager and two other General Catering Assistants to maximise the student experience

A willingness to learn new skills and develop as an individual

You will be a team player with good interpersonal skills and clear concise communication skills. Experience of working in the hospitality industry or a service environment .A knowledge of basic food hygiene.
