Full Job Description

As General Assistant for Sodexo at Bean Primary school, Dartford, DA2 8AL. You will be contributing towards the smooth running of a fast-paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for showcasing what the kitchen supplies, presenting it in the most eye-catching way possible, ensuring we are offering the best service possible. As well as this, you work no unsociable hours and get public holidays off… including Christmas! Join Sodexo and be part of something greater.   • Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.
  • Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic always.
  • Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
  • Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.
  • Always uphold the reputation of the company.

  • Show that you can adopt a dedicated and orderly approach.
  • Show that you can prioritise your work, handle pressure, and communicate well at all levels.
  • Show impeccable punctuality and dependability.
  • Experience in a similar environment (helpful but not a deal breaker).

  • Full training and full protective uniform supplied., £11.44 per hour
  • 15 hours per week
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday 11.00am - 2.00pm
  • Term Time only (39 week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks
  • Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.
