General Maintenance Engineer

Integral are looking for a general maintenance engineer to join our engineering term at Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton. We are looking for an individual, with a broad understanding of building services and experience, with a calm manner that engenders a sense of trust with the clients and the rest of the site team. Specific experience at a day-to-day operational level to suit the environment.
Responsibilities
+ Ability to fault find and rectify.
+ To support the contract management & admin team through the operations office, dealing with day to day engineering & other contract issues
+ Deal with and resolve problematic persistent recalls.
+ Undertake quality control checks on both reactive & PPM tasks
+ An ability to communicate with others effectively; this will include clients and end users.
+ To have a flexible approach to working times so as to suit the client & business requirements.
+ Respond to emergency situations in both normal & OOH working times
+ Maintain Health & Safety records and ensure good practice
+ Other duties as requested by the Contract Delivery Manager to ensure smooth running of the contracts within the region.
+ To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the relevant manager.
+ Duties will include carrying out various non- specialist building fabric maintenance tasks.
+ To close / update completed PPM tasks on the CAFM system.
+ To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.
+ Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
+ Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works.
+ To inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with call-outs/repairs as required, and requested by management.
+ Carry out tasks within typical plant room environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders. All access and PPE will be provided.
+ Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
+ To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach.
+ Complete any other associated task requested by the management and as dictated within the operational scope of PFI/LIFT contracts.

+ Current Full UK driving licence
