+ Portable Appliance Testing of new and second-hand electrical items for earth continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, leakage and functional checks.
+ Electrical appliance repairs, disassembly and reconstruction.
+ Consumables and parts stores management (including audit)
+ Completing safety and compliance certification
+ General DIY
+ Ad hoc works

Are you an experienced General Maintenance Operative who is looking for a new challenge?

We are looking to expand our ream and recruit an individual with a background in maintenance who can take responsibility for Portable Appliance Electrical Testing across our growing reuse service. The role will be predominantly based in Bodmin but may require travel to other sites throughout Cornwall., + Desirable PAT certificate advanced level, City and guilds Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing
+ Mechanical Knowledge/Experience
+ General DIY - Building works, Plumbing, woodwork, etc
+ Good with Hand tools & power tools - drills, grinders, jigsaw
+ Safety Conscious as sole worker on tasks
+ Self motivated
