General Manager - Medicine SpecialtiesThe Emergency and Integrated Care Division are currently looking to appoint an individual with an excellent track record of operational management, people leadership, and change management to join an enthusiastic and dynamic senior team. The post holder will work closely with the nursing, administrative and clinical teams to deliver excellent performance and achieve agreed productivity targets. Main objectives for the role will be linked to ensuring :

  • This is an opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and ensure operational delivery of the divisions business plan, including the achievement of performance and financial metrics, with a consistent focus on the highest standards of treatment and care., The Emergency and Integrated Care (EIC) Division at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS FT is looking for a talented leader to join us as the General Manager for Medicine Specialties.

    Working across our two hospital sites, the General Manager alongside the Lead Nurse and Clinical Directors will be responsible for delivery of services the busy Medicine Specialties Services. Including Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Neurology, Haematology, Respiratory, Cardiology and Rheumatology

    The successful candidate will have strong negotiating and influencing skills; able to establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders and enjoy being part of an ambitious, high performing team. You will have had experience of leading and managing complex budgets, a good understanding of the NHS performance environment along with well-developed numerical and analytical ability. As an excellent communicator you will be able to motivate and engage others to ensure that the services we provide support the Trust's values, as well as having an innovative approach that is not afraid to challenge convention and traditional ways of working. You must also have a flexible approach to duties and have the ability to remain calm in a busy environment.
