Full Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated General Manager to join the Emergency Department at UCLH. The post holder will be predominantly responsible for the smooth delivery of operational and performance targets within the Emergency Department as well as the continuous improvement within the Department. The successful candidate will have strong operational management experience and will be expected to learn and develop within the role as well as provide operational leadership for the Emergency Services Department. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day running of the service, effective management of budgets, workforce, performance and service improvements., Candidates should have experience of working closely with multidisciplinary teams, leading service developments, data management and staff management. We are looking for a leader who can demonstrate effective communication skills, team working, excellent problem-solving abilities and strong values based in line with the UCLH Trust values.
